Comment for Westgate applies that would prefer that the cycle track is on the southside of The Headrow on the grounds that it is a quieter side with fewer pedestrians and so would reduce cyclist/pedestrian conflict and be safer for pedestrians.

I LOVE the new pedestrianised area - Leeds (and indeed other British cities) needs far more of this to properly compete with other European city centres! Great use of greenery and seating.
